Stop and smell the MARIGOLDS! This post is for all of you dog lovers out there 🧡 ⁠

Meet Marigold, our 10 year old maltipoo who has spent her entire life surrounded by beautiful flowers. She came to us as a puppy when I had my first wedding floral business (Poppies), just outside of Saint Louis, Missouri. It was there that she discovered her love for lisianthus while eating an entire bucket full of those beautiful (and expensive!!) blooms 😉 When we moved to the Philadelphia area, I knew I wanted to have a floral company named after a flower again. Marigolds are known for spreading joy through their colorful/cheerful blooms. Marigold by Becky Memmo was created for this very reason 💛 ⁠

These photos are from a shoot to honor my sweet Marigold 🐶 Because floral walls are so trendy in wedding work right now, I felt like she needed her very own after all these years of being my loyal studio dog! I wasn’t sure if I wanted to share something so personal on this page, but sometimes it’s nice to know exactly who you you are hiring! This is my family. These are the people working behind the scenes on every event we create. Whether it’s my daughter helping by adding tea lights to every votive cup, my husband helping by building your ceremony structure or Marigold (our dog) offering moral support by laying next to my feet as I design your bouquet…this is us 💛 Many of my couples are now growing their own families, and I love watching their stories unfold.
