PLINTH FEATURES

Plinths are in at the moment & with good reason as they create the perfect base to create your floral dreamscape 🫶

These ones from the weekend deserved a permanent spot on my feed so here they are 👆in this particular scenario we opted for tall floral features to sit atop the plinths, both being a little different but framing the backdrop & the couple perfectly for their nuptials.

The other great reason for plinth features is they can be easily repurposed to your reception space.

There is also a range of options with plinths as well, either choosing to do pieces to sit atop the plinths only or both top & floor pieces as well. We can be flexible to work within your budget to achieve something truly beautiful & unique for you.

‘Vikki was an absolute dream come true for any bride on her wedding day. Communication was clear and consistent with every question regarding flower colour palette, flower availability and invoicing answered promptly and in a way we could understand. It became obvious after our first meeting that the experience and creative flair that Vikki had was going to be a standout for our guests, so by giving her creative freedom for key pieces in the ceremony/ reception, we had our own surprises too. We would highly recommend Urban and Wild Co and we loved our ceremony hanging piece so much, we commission artwork to remain in our new family home as a stunning reminder of our special day!’

How to Book Your Wedding or Event Flowers with Urban & Wild Co

Getting started is easy! Below is a step-by-step guide to requesting a quote and securing your booking 👇

Step 1: Fill out our “Get In Touch” contact form. Share your floral vision and preferences, and don’t forget to attach some inspiration images or a Pinterest link! This helps us determine our availability and ensure we can meet your vision and budget.

Step 2: We’ll arrange a video consultation to connect and dive deeper into your ideas. After our chat, we’ll create a customised proposal featuring a mood board and a detailed quote.

Step 3: Once you’re happy with the proposal, you can confirm it! We might adjust a few details together, but once you accept, you’re officially part of our family!

Step 4: To secure your date, simply pay the 25% booking deposit. With that, you can relax knowing another piece of your Wedding or event is sorted.

Step 5: Around 5-6 weeks before your big day, we’ll check in to finalise all the details. We’ll send over your final invoice, due 4 weeks before the day, so we can order your florals from our wholesalers.

So… yesterday my oldest boy turned 5!! 😱

I just had to share this photo of us captured by on a recent styled shoot that we did as this is the first time in 6+ years of running my lil biz that I have brought Toby along on location. This isn’t possible for a wedding or event as I have 100% focus on creating your beautiful blooms but was super special for him to be a part of creating with me.

He is however a regular helper though with unpacking florals from the car & has come on the occasional trip to the flower markets with me too.

These hanging floral features with added disco balls brought the 🤩 WOW 🤩 factor for this Reception space & is where we focused the main part of the floral budget.

Focusing your budget on 2-3 statement features is key in making an impact with your florals instead of spreading it too thin to try & have flowers everywhere.

If budget isn’t a concern then by all means flowers all around!!! I know that would be the dream for everyone but in realistic terms budget plays a big factor into your final floral look & I am here to guide you to achieve beautiful florals that align with how much you want to spend as well.

When you receive your florals, what you often don’t see is the PREP work & BTS involved. So let me give you a little snapshot below 👇 🌸4-6 weeks out from the Event day I confirm your final Floral brief with you & order requirements. From here I place the order for florals & required sundries through to the wholesalers. 🌸48-72 hrs before the event I personally pick up the florals & sundries from the wholesalers. 🌸Process & prep all product required 🌸Organise & prep all required hired items to be used 🌸Creation of offsite features & components 🌸On the Day delivery of all floral items to agreed drop off locations & event venue. 🌸Set up of all florals & decor items as per final floral design 🌸Stay back to repurpose of florals if required 🌸Return following the event to pack down & pick up hired items or remove floral creations if necessary. 🌸Clean up I have a very creative eye and ensure your florals are perfect for your day. 😍 Although a lot is involved (especially as a small business owner with kids) everyday I am so grateful to have this as my career & absolutely love the fact I get to bring some brightness to your special events.
