Vass Nikoloff founded Northern Impact with Kameliia and Yordan Kirilov in the Norwegian city of Trondheim in December 2017, with the brand's first party taking place at Red Zone Nightclub. The organisation's initial goal was to create a space where he and his closest people could play music, as the electronic culture in the city was inaccessible to them at the time. And things worked out! What started as a casual idea saw significant progress, far exceeding the expectations of the Prince, as Vass is affectionately known among his friends. He managed to gather people interested in electronic music, hosting monthly events that left the audience eagerly anticipating the next one, showcasing his leadership qualities and organizational skills.
Over time, he relocated to London, where he aimed to take his organization to the next level and try to establish it on the big stage. From secret rave culture to club-level events, he created opportunities for many talents who dreamed of stepping behind the decks. Along the way, he realized that it was far more rewarding for him to see others succeed than to focus on his personal aspirations as a DJ. This has become the fundamental driving force that continues to inspire him to organize events to this day.
Currently, Vass is focused on the Bulgarian scene in London, primarily inviting local artists to the English capital to showcase their charismatic style of playing during prime time at his events. His favourite position for himself is to warm up the crowd for each of these artists, ensuring that everything is headed in the right direction.
On January 31st, Vass invites you to celebrate the seventh anniversary of Northern Impact at one of the most exciting and iconic British venues – E1 London.
