On May the 5th Grüner Salon at Volksbühne hosts the long awaited Record Release Party of Shang Hangl´s album Swag Corner.
Shang Hangl is a Berlin based beat production duo consisting of brothers Faris & Romeo Natur.
Romeo, aka Row, started playing percussion when he was six years old and has been addicted to beats and rhythms ever since. Jazz guitarist Faris, aka Pharaoe contributes the album's mellow basslines.
Shang Hangl and special guests will perform at the Release Party of Swag Corner and are joined by Chelsea Blues, an UK-based artist who collaborated with the duo on the track "Wildspirit“. Chelsea has wowed crowds with her live freestyles and spoken word performances at prestigious venues like BBC INTRODUCING, SOFAR SOUNDS and RONNIE SCOTT'S. We are thrilled that she will be joining Row ans Pharaoe on stage at Grüner Salon.
In addition, there will be various Djs keeping the crowd dancing all through the night, such as DJ Sir Quentin Oakwoodz, as well as Frau Braun, who is a record collector and fun selector plus DJ and producer Haadoob who has been creating atmospheric sounds for the past 20 years. Haadoob's album "Words From The Wise" is out now via Some Such Records.
