DATE FOR YOUR DIARY ...CLEARANCE SALE ...4TH FEB

Another lovely busy Saturday in the chalet and great to spend time with some wonderful women enjoying shopping the Sale Rails and picking up some fabulous bargains.

But as you know a chalet shop isn't just about clothes and I will really miss all our chats and catching up with each and every one of you.

Today bought it home when two women overlapped appointments and without knowing each other struck up a really easy conversation, offering first hand advice on the tricky subject of a cancer diagnosis and how they could best support a friend through new, unchartered territory. Speaking honestly and frankly they chatted away together - a shared bond between two like-minded women.

Whether we chat about young kids, teenage worries, elderly parents or more frivolous matters such as upcoming holiday plans, TV watching or what to cook for dinner - there's always a great camaraderie that ensures a chalet shop is more than a retail quick fix! It is a truly unique shopping experience.

That is all down to each and everyone of you for being so warm and giving of your time and interest in others.

So for one last hurrah and to get as many of you together as possible I am planning a final Clearance Sale at St Clement's Parish Hall on Sunday, February 4th from 10am to 2pm.

I really hope you will be able to spread the word and join me - please feel free to bring a friend (or two), your Mum, sister or neighbour - the more the merrier!

There will be some amazing, crazy prices and I can guarantee you will walk away with some fabulous styles! All you need to bring are your shopping bags to carry all your purchases!

To make it more of a fun event I will be joined by Jennifer Seymour with her gorgeous Tropic skincare range, Michelle Goodenough with the amazing kitchen gadget you can't live without (AKA THE Thermomix), from Shara Candles and Refill Service and some other lovely stallholders tbc.

After you've shopped to your hearts content we will be retiring to Le Hocq Inn to raise a glass and toast the end of an era ... for now at least!

So who's in? Please share this post and spread the word - let's go out in style!!
