I love volunteering at the zoo and this year joined a few other colleagues to make up the fabulous 'Whipsnade volunteers' team who collectively amassed 5367.77km and are aiming to raise £3k once all promised donations are received.

We had an amazing year making wonderful memories with you all and will treasure those as well as the love and support when we celebrated our union surrounded by our loved ones.

Today and Elliot's family and friends said goodbye. I was honoured to be a small part of their lives helping Sarah organise their wedding day in April and their family will forever be in our lives.
As with their fantastic wedding day, whilst today there were tears at saying goodbye, everyone showed so much love for each other and for the man they will miss dearly.
As Zoe & Elliot's # first dance was to his song, today it was also poignant to hear 'How do I' played with the kind permission of

On friday we witnessed what the power of love, joy, support and determination can achieve when families and friends come together to celebrate LOVE.

Just over 8 weeks ago, I first met the lovely Sarah Mellor, her sister Zoe and her fiancée Elliot and Zoe's daughter Charleigh to discuss if we could host a wedding celebration at Bellows Mill...... well guys you did it and what a magical day it was.

It's been an absolute pleasure being part of the planning team to celebrate the love and commitment that Zoe & Elliot and all their friends and family have for each other.

As ever our 'barn' and .barluxe teams were the best - thanks all.
