Spring has finally sprung and I can’t imagine a more dreamy scene than this…
It is the first week of May and the apple trees are blossoming sweetly. The landscape is dotted with bright yellow pops of dandelions and vibrant purple violets. The air is full of birdsong and softly singing wind chimes. We are honored to be guests at Sweetland Orchard, Gretchen Perbix’s beautiful slice of heaven on earth, where she lovingly grows and ferments a variety of apples to make into delicious hard cider.

The community we’ve been longing for gathers once again. Mothers and daughters, sons and husbands, friends and family all share brunch around picnic tables and blankets spread under the blooming apple trees. Tender spring vegetables, farm fresh eggs, artisan cheeses, savory charcuterie and baked goods with sweet honey are the stars of the menu. Each locally curated dish is paired with a Sweetland Cider, showcasing the distinctive flavor profiles unique to the orchard you dine in.

We would like to extend a sincere invitation to join us in this female-powered celebration of Spring, Mother Earth and the feminine energy that gives us life and nurtures us all.

The time has FINALLY come for us to gather again.

Join us for a dreamy summer afternoon at The Elm Tree Farm. Stroll leisurely through the organic orchards. Watch the horses graze in their field. Feast on a delicious picnic made from the most gorgeous seasonal ingredients, sourced from local farms and foraged from the woods surrounding you. Kick back and lounge on your picnic blanket as you listen to live acoustic music and the sun turns pink and gold as it sets over the horizon.

Your individual picnic will include:

✨Wild greens salad
✨Gourmet sandwich (choice of turkey, roast beef or veggie)
✨Organic blue corn tortilla chips

In the predawn hours of March 11, fire took over our greenhouse and burned it almost completely down. The fire department came and put it out but not before it was almost completely destroyed. We heated the greenhouse with a large woodstove and it appears to have gotten some rusty spots which...
