Vegas History

❤️Since DestinyPaintball’s establishment in 2004, we have had hundreds of players represent Destiny on numerous Destiny teams, many Destiny alumni have earned numerous championships with us, with several going into the traditional pro division.

🧡Living the “Paintball Traveler’s Dream” since 1999, this unique lifestyle has brought me so many memorable experiences.

💛Now, another historical milestone for paintball, we have a women’s pro division in the NXL. As a paintball promotion organization, Destiny has climbed the divisional ranks over the course of 18-years and so being on a “pro” platform for us is an accomplishment we proudly and humbly share with the players and staff members that have been on this journey with us.

💚LEGACY is what it is about for us and looking back on Destiny’s history, that is the ultimate path we’ve been set out to do since Destiny’s birth.

💙We have covered all aspects of paintball from the start, participating in all types of paintball competition. Rocky Cagnoni said it best that to us, Paintball is all the same, regardless of if it’s the speedball side or the scenario/big game or even Air Powered Time Trials paintball obstacle course style, too!

💜And it’s because of this realization that we acknowledge the bigger importance of the COMMUNITY and it’s CONNECTION of happiness-deserving people; it’s truly brought so many good people together to do really life-changing for the better activities.

❤️Another HISTORICAL moment, at the 2021 NXL WORLD CUP event, the event everyone dreams about going to, we had a record-breaking number of players and teams that were encouraged to go…

•over 130 Destiny members playing and/or staffing,
•17 different paintball teams in 11 divisions,
•that’s over $21,000 spent on entry fees and •Paintball IDs given to the NXL’s economy,
•255+\- cases of paintballs were purchased at that singular event…

🧡And at that same event, DESTINY not only exhibited in the debut of the Women’s Pro Division aka “WNXL” but we also proved that there is a market for YOUTH in paintball via the YOUTH EXHIBITION (that we helped inspire with other Paintball Parents & Mentors that believe in passing the torch), with Destiny Kids from Destiny NOLA and Destiny Montana featuring our 12 year old daughter, Bebe.

💛Which brings us back to LEGACY and it’s importance for all of us as human beings…. What DESTINY has become is more than just a paintball team, but a Paintball Promotional Community, emphasizing that ALL people can be a part of this stress-relieving sporting activity, and that passing the enthusiasm we have for the joy paintball brings to our younger generation - this is the greatest “Reward”.

💚This is why I still do this, why year after year, without fail, our lives have been about our connection to the PEOPLE that so happen to also enjoy the act of participating in it as much as we do.

💙Will forever be THANKFUL for this paintball life we continue to live and the awards earned go beyond the egotistical collection of such… it’s the shear hope and fun we share with others that make this all WORTHWHILE.

Mike Paxson, during his days with Ron Kilbourne's Bushwackers. Facefull Magazine photo shoot at 2001 World Cup in Kissimmee, Florida. Maybe Facefull will do these sort of artsy, creative, eye-catching photo shoots at this year's Cup?

We met each other shortly after this. I used to drive from SD to LA to practice on Wednesday nights and weekends just to train with him and the 'wackers. I also thought he was 30 back then (he was 21 in this photo!). I think it was the goatee aka baby beard. Got married in 2007... (thanks Paul Alders for the Share Post!) GOTO

Someone show Ron Kilbourne in Vegas… memories. ❤️

to when of was on the Almighty Bushwackers of Southern California. I met Mike in 2000, but didn’t start dating him until 2001. I would drive from San Diego every weekend to practice at SC Village and on Wednesday nights to practice in an indoor he was at. He was the first to truly help me understand the game, even teaching me the inner-workings of the very complex, but superiorly accurate marker. also gave me a chance to roster on his team, and I learned so much from that experience, of which I will forever be grateful. Thanks to for sharing this photo with me.
