Our lovely B&G and opted to honor tradition and culture by taking part of the Korean paebaek ceremony. Now typically, only the family side takes part of throwing the dates and chestnuts, but since these two are one of the most amazing, kindest, and thoughtful human beings, we figured they should maximize their future offpsrings...

So we decided to add on our own modern twist to it—the Hi Def way and invite all friends to come out and throw the dates/chestnuts into the fertility blanket. Needless to say, they will have a lot of kids.

PSA: Whoever took part of throwing the dates/chestnuts are also responsible for helping babysit.

One of our most memorable garter removal and tosses. Squad participation was at an all time high which set the tone for a high energy dance floor. The talk around town is that bouquet and garter removal/tosses are corny, cringey, and a thing of the past, but we beg to differ. It’s cringey and corny if you have a cringey/corny host and DJ. It’s all about execution. With the right music, hosting, and timing, it becomes a fun, memorable moment. We hear couples on the fence about garter removal, because their parents and families would be watching and worried about it potentially being uncomfortable for them; well it couldn’t be any further from the truth. 99.999 percent of our couples who were on the fence but took a chance with the garter ended up a fun, memorable moment and awesome photos/videos. What do the guests including families and elders do? They whip out that iPhone with a big ol smile and and cheer on their face screaming ‘CRAWL AGAIN!!’. Yes, even the Holiest of Holy.
