Well despite the horrendous weather (cold and rainy), Wakefield did us proud today! The city, and both shopping centres were incredibly quiet but we still welcomed over 400 people through our doors at WX Wakefield.
A HUGE thank you to everyone who visited, and an even BIGGER one to you if you left with purchases, even if you were just browsing to kill time before your bus (you know who you are 😜).
Merry Christmas Wakefield. We’ll see you when we’re back next year, on May 10th 2026!

One of the nice things about putting up posters for our craft fairs is the interaction with the local shops.

It’s always sad to see a shop has closed, leaving another empty spot on the high street.

But today, we found two new shops in Ossett — and they definitely brightened our day.

We are absolutely gutted to announce the retirement of one of our lovely crafters.
Pat, from Pat 'n' Glass has decided to hang up her apron, and after three years of trading with us she will be sadly missed.
She has been a fantastic addition to our events, with her beautiful hand painted glasswares, friendly face and bright smile.
Don’t be a stranger, we’d love to see you walking through our doors as a visitor, we’d always make you welcome and certainly shout you a drink.

We're ending our 2025 year of events at Castleford indoor market on Saturday 20th December. The exhibition space and foyer will be full of our crafters with their festive hand crafted items.

It's going to be a fantastic day in Ossett on Saturday 13th December. Our Craft and Gift Fair will be inside Ossett Town Hall and Visit Ossett will be outside with their Elf trail and Christmas festival.
A perfect family day.

We're heading back to Great Preston Village Hall on Sunday 7th December with our Christmas fair. It's the perfect opportunity to purchase something handcrafted for Christmas.
