Hear ye, hear ye… First Mag is going MEDIEVAL — with Mead!! 🏰

All weekend long, First Magnitude beer AND Mead will be available at the Hoggetowne Medieval Faire at the Alehouse & Brewtique on the west side of .park between the Cade Museum and the water! AND you can add a “bee sting” of our Mead to any brews from either Alehouse!

We’re joining in on the Medieval magic at The Source this weekend too. We’ll be open early on Saturday and Sunday at 12 PM, we’ll have 3 food trucks on site both days, with food fit for a king! Get merry with live music on Saturday night from 6-9 PM, plus enjoy some delicious Mead that’ll be on tap all weekend long!

THIS MAY STING A LITTLE 🐝 Mead 🍯 Featuring a blend of Orange Blossom, local Wildflower, and Tanzanian Miombo honeys, this rich, semi-sweet honey wine is served still (uncarbonated), with notes of citrus, guava and just a hint of smoke. ABV: 11.2%

I think that this is a good time to announce that Mexi Cocina will be leaving Lake City and operating in Gainesville. We will have a new location and even a new trailer build. I would like to give a few words: For almost 3 years, my dreams of making my passion be how I make a living was tough. Some days I questioned if I even made the right decision. Thank you to the amazing customers for loving the food and even being there for Chef. Through it all, I am eternally grateful to the community of Lake City for the support. I have kept my eyes on the prize since day one. Mexi Cocina has reached goals and keeps growing and achieving them everyday.

The quality of the product is very important, these heirloom variety tomatoes are picked vine ripened and the flavor is amazing.
