“Some love stories are tested by storms, and this one faced the ultimate test—literally. ❄️💨”

When Emma and James planned their wedding, they dreamed of a day filled with love, laughter, and a room full of their favorite people celebrating not only their wedding, but their anniversary. What they didn’t plan for was a surprise blizzard that would keep many guests from attending. 💔

Instead of the big crowd they’d imagined, their intimate group of 25 rallied together to celebrate a love that could weather any storm.

Their day became a testament to resilience, adaptability, and love that shines brighter than any storm. 🌨️✨

To Emma and James, I'm sorry your day was not how it you imagined it. But I'm still grateful I was there to witness the love you have for each other and your families, even though we had to cut things short. Your strength and love inspired me deeply. Here’s to making the best of unexpected circumstances and finding beauty in the unplanned. ❄️❤️

You'll notice that my instagram feed is fully dedicated to showing off color, but some of my favorite images are black and white. I will never not love black and white imagery. I started my photography journey way back in high school, with a dark room, and only printing black and white images off film the old school way. They always hold a special place in my heart, so please enjoy some of my favorites from last year.

Right before Thanksgiving I got to hang with two special people. I've known Maggie and Garrett for years now due to Maggie being my sister-in-law's sister. Garrett and I bonded when he drove me across Colorado to get to Vail for a wedding he and Maggie were invited to. I knew this engagement session was going to be way too much fun. Even though it was freezing, I absolutely adore all of these images. Congrats you two. I'm so excited for you both!

My last wedding of the year is gonna be a good one. I immediately connected with Gracie and Ashley when they talked about playing games together with their Nintendo Switches. They invited me to pizza and introduced me to their precious Chihuahua Meatball. I’m so stoked for their day and how many personal details they have planned. It’ll be the perfect way to wrap up my 2024!

As the weather starts to crisp up, it's definitely time for snuggling in weighted blankets, reading, and drinking hot cocoa BUT I'll be thinking about spring time to get me through harsh winter months. Here's Jennifer and Andrew with the true star of the show, Bruno.

Besides a couple walking back down the aisle as married, the getting ready portion of the day is my favorite part of the day to photograph. The excitement just becomes REAL when that dress is put on with the help of your sister and mom, or when that tie is fixed on by your father. It's just such a magical moment to document.

I met up with Cody and Lindsey at Up-down where we played a large assortment of games from basketball, pinball, and skiball. Then we headed off to the Nelson for some gorgeous fall colors. I love how down they were to try anything, including running across the street! The variety of images we got were just so fun and colorful.
