Steve Helstrip , known as The Thrillseekers, has been a prominent figure on the trance scene for 25 years. From his 1999 debut single 'Synaesthesia,' which sold over a million copies worldwide, to hits like 'The Last Time', 'Anywhere With You', and 'This Is All We Have', he has created some of the most emotive electronic music to grace our beloved scene.

He has collaborated with music industry giants like Trevor Horn, trance legends like Chicane, and Ferry Corsten, and has remixed tracks for Tiesto and Armin van Buuren among other notable artists.

As a DJ, Steve has performed at major venues and festivals across the globe and earned a spot in DJ Mag’s Top 100 poll with an all time high of no.45!

Joining a lineup of trance legends, THE THRILLSEEKERS will take us all on a journey to what was arguably THE best year for trance!

The return to Trance brands Like It's 1999, Insomniacz and Trancemitta in Nottingham was a long-awaited and hugely enjoyable event. I was thrilled to be invited back to support these iconic brands after all this time, about 11 years!!!

It was great to see many familiar faces, some I hadn't seen for years!!! Needless to say, I had a fantastic time playing a set filled with quality Trance reworks, featuring special tracks from artists like Moonman, Ralph Fridge, and Chakra that made everyone move on the dancefloor! Hopefully, this will have the same impact!! :)

Belgian-born Mike Dierickx is a producer, remixer, and DJ who blends Trance with Techno and has a multitude of guises that he produces and remixes under, most notably as Push, M.I.K.E. Push, and Plastic Boy. His career shot through the roof with 'Universal Nation' under his Push guise, which won several dance music awards and is recognized as one of the classic dance records of the Trance era until this day.

His follow-up single, 'Strange World,' hit hard, and this was followed by another massive release, 'The Legacy,' once again topping most dance charts across Europe and entering the British National charts at number 21.

Over the years, Mike received several music awards, including best club singles and best dance producer, and entered the national Top 40 in the UK six times. Recently, 'Universal Nation' was voted the best Electronic Dance track of all time for six years in a row on Studio Brussels - The Greatest Switch in Belgium and received gold and platinum streaming awards!
Push spawned five albums: 'From Beyond,' the critically acclaimed 'Electric Eclips,' and 'Global Age,' along with the new arrivals of 'Together We Rule The World' & 'Neon Life' which stormed the charts on the major continents - and in 2021, M.I.K.E. Push became a resident on One World Radio [Tomorrowland] with his show 'Universal Nation'

It’s been a while since we last saw M.I.K.E. Push in Sheffield but we can’t wait to welcome him back to The Strel City for his RΞBOOTΞD debut!

Beyond a shadow of a doubt, 1999 stood out as THE year for Sheffield's ever-growing underground dance music scene. Trance, house, and hard house clubs were popping up weekly, making it a simple job to find somewhere to go.

It's also the year that marked the birth of a brand that is now celebrating 25 years in the business. Just days ago, RΞBOOTΞD head honcho Scott Bond headlined the 'LIKE IT'S 1999' trance stage in Nottingham as part of their anniversary celebration.

'LIKE IT'S 1999' has hosted unforgettable parties in Sheffield, drawing dedicated ravers to packed clubs dancing to headline acts like Judge Jules, Matt Darey, Matt Hardwick, and our very own Scott Bond.

There was no doubt that REBOOTED's 1st birthday celebration was a tremendous success!🎉Seeing so many people come together to celebrate this significant milestone was very touching. The atmosphere was electric ⚡️and there was a real sense of excitement in the air. Every DJ who performed that day brought their best, delivering some remarkable sets💥.

I always find that Back-to-Back or B2B sets are an interesting concept as you never quite know what to expect!
