After a couple weeks of much needed time off I am officially back in the office tomorrow!

I spent the last few weeks catching up on a bit of "me" time and quality time with the husband as we went off on a road trip to QLD. I'm feeling very well rested and already itching to get back into the studio.

In full transperancy it can be very hard to find a good work/life balance when you work for yourself, which is why I chose to take a few months off of instagram for the sake of my own mental health. It's a little too easy to fall into the trap of comparing my work to other florists, the overwhelming imposter syndrome, worrying about my follower count or about how much 'reach' my posts are getting.
It's particularly draining and will often cause me to fall down into overthinking, stress & anxiety which is the last thing I want when I'm trying to be creative in my work!

I am an all or nothing kind of person and a workaholic and I will ALWAYS put my business & my couples first as there is nothing more important to me - so to keep up my energy, creativity & motivation I chose to keep instagram closed for the last part of this wedding season.

And I'm proud to say I honestly believe I have created some of my best work this year. I have worked with over 40 beautiful couples so far in 2024 and have had some huge career highlights. I have TONNES of new galleries of photos to share with you all and now that I'm catching up on a bit of "me" time I will start to post more regularly once again.

I am very excited to announce we are finalists in the Australian Bridal Industry Awards!

Thank you to everyone who voted, I can't believe how blessed I am to have such beautiful couples who are willing to leave such kind and thoughtful reviews.

This comes not even 2 weeks after winning #1 florist in SA through the Wedding Industry Awards (a completely unrelated organisation)! It truly doesn't feel like this is real life 😂

Best wishes to the other 3 incredible Adelaide florists who are nominated! I can't wait to see the results in a few weeks 😄

This feature bridal table design was so fun to create; mixing monsteras, ferns, ruscus, eucalyptus, and funky tropical leaves to create a lush garland.

We are are very much in the thick of wedding season right now!

We have had weddings every single weekend so far this year and have 7 more big weekends to come through the rest of March & April (minus Easter weekend when we will be taking a few (much needed) days off)

As always, I am SO grateful that I get to do this for a living. Thank you to every couple who has chosen Floral Eden for your wedding!

Happy New Year!

Today was my first day back in the office for 2023, but last week we had 3 beautiful weddings to kick off the 'fun' side of being a florist! (as much as I do love replying to your emails, drinking endless cups of tea and spending all day in my PJs, the best part of my job is the actual wedding days haha!)

We are very excited for the year to come.. there are so many beautiful weddings we can't wait to get started on!

Remember to get in touch sooner rather than later if you're wanting to book with us. At this stage we are booked out for Jan to April but do have *some* availability through the end of the year
