An update of events from Lucas Haneman!
"There are a lot of exciting performances coming up, so here's a taste
of what to expect in the next couple months:
For those of you in the GTA, this Friday, October 13th, The LH Express
will be playing at an event called "Dining With Purpose" (a benefit
for Ukraine) in Etobicoke at the T. Shevchenko Ukrainian Community
Centre (482 Horner Avenue). This week the organizers have opened the
night up to show only tickets for those who wish to eat beforehand,
and just come to watch The LH Express play starting at 8:30pm. These
tickets are $60 each, and can be purchaced by sending an ETransfer to
[email protected] with "Show Only" in the subject line! Call time
is 8pm.
On Friday, October 20th The Blind & The Beautiful will be on a double
bill with the fantastic Kristine St-Pierre and her band at The Old
Town Hall (478 Main St E, Wi******er, Ontario). We'll be playing a 45
minute set at 7:30pm, and Kristine will be on afterwards. Tickets are
$25 in advance, or $30 at the door. This is going to be a great show,
and we truely can't wait for it! Get your tickets now by visiting:

Looking ahead to November, there is an exciting and unique show
happening on Sunday, November 5th! Come join Megan Laurence, myself
and our good friend Paul Anthony for "Elvis & Patsy Unplugged".
Remember that MTV Unplugged series' from the 90s'? Well, what if there
was a time machine and Elvis Presley and Patsy Cline could've done
something similar while they were alive? What if though, songs from
these artists, and this era could be reinterpreted with modern tools
like loop pedals, and arranged for the stripped down intimate format
of voice and guitar? Well, that's what'll be happening on November
5th. Megan will be visiting and putting her own spin on the great
music of Patsy Cline, Paul will be representing the king in all his
glory, and I'll be doing my thing on guitar along with each of them,
reworking these songs for the modern age. Long story short, this show
will be very special, very different from anything else you ever see
Megan and I do, and therefore it's not to be missed! Best of all it's
all ages, and at a cool venue on the afternoon of November 5th! From
2pm to 4pm that day join us at Hummingbird Hall (900 Greenbank Road).
There are a set of stairs to go down, so it is unfortunately not
wheelchair accessible. Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for kids 12
and under. You can call 613-825-0557 or by sending an e-transfer to
[email protected] and please include your name and number of tickets
in the memo line.
Then on November 10th, The Blind & The Beautiful will be back at the
Nepean Sailing Club (3259 Carling Avenue) from 7pm to 10pm.
On Saturday, November 18th I'll be playing solo at Zolas Italian
Restaurant (2194 Robertson Road) Ottawa). 5:30pm to 9pm.
Of course you can still catch me solo every Sunday (from 6pm to 9pm)
at the Brookstreet Hotel Options Bar (525 Legget Drive in Kanata) as
well, and you can catch Megan and I there on Sunday, November 19th.
More to come for December soon including a performance at the Ottawa
Christmas Market on December 3rd, and a special New Years Eve show
with The LH Express, so stay tuned!
Kristine St-Pierre backed by her full band, fresh off their performance at Ottawa Cityfolk, plus special guests The Blind and The Beautiful!
