It's been a crazy season. We walked through Covid together and many of us are still getting back on our feet. I thought 2020 was going to be my first big year as a balloon artist, but I spent most of it hunkered down in my tiny basement apartment. How could I advertise balloons when I couldn't support gatherings?

2021, I left Marquette to spend some much needed time with my family in Washington State, where I'm from. Six months later, I bought a van and found myself unexpectedly working at a summer camp in Minnesota, living in a tiny prayer cabin that a bear slept under. I made some new friends, helped some old friends get established, and somehow I found a cat (she found me) in the woods and took her home.

We're into 2022 now, and somehow I'm living in a proper home back in Marquette--that was another unexpected adventure--making new friends and reconnecting with old ones. I even tried dating someone for the first time in over a decade! (It ended incredibly poorly, but I'm thankful for the time we had together and the things I've learned.)

I'm feeling refreshed and I have a bit of that nervous-excitement like you get before you jump into the water and you don't know how cold it will be. I have awesome neighbors, amazing coworkers, and an incredibly supportive church family.

And they're encouraging me (among other things) to start this up again!

So, well, here goes!

I do sculptures, artistry, deliverables, on-site twisting, photo backdrops and more. Pretty much anything and everything you can imagine when it comes to balloons--I can help make those dreams into a reality!
