Happy Hump Day! Skillet Chicken thighs with Peaches from the March edition of was sooooo…delicioso!! A perfect weeknight one-skillet dinner. The sauce, onions & peaches make a great chutney that I would eat by the spoonful! I made 🍚 to soak it up & it was 🍑

Turkey Pot Pie… as a chef who has carpal tunnel syndrome I’ve always avoided making pie dough and any attempts have resulted in failure. But with inspiration from my daughter’s mastery of pie dough, I decided to try making it in the food processor. Much to my surprise it was deliciously light & flaky! Can’t wait to make another pie!s

My favorite thing about being a cook is creating delicious, eye catching, unexpected dishes. This Chinese Red Pork Belly Sushi bite is a new spin on an old recipe that I originally twisted up in 2019.
I have to give credit to my collaborator for suggesting the Chinese marinade 🙏🏼

The Redwood Valley-Calpella Fire District Volunteer Firefighters have been hard at work to make sure everyone will have a great time this year!

Tickets include:
A delicious dinner: tri-tip, beans, garlic bread, and salad

Complimentary water, soda, and Schat's Bakeries & Cafe chocolate chip cookies, served by our amazing Redwood Valley / Calpella 4-H group

Live music provided by Les Boek and Grass Fire from 6:00-8:00pm
followed by Waylon and the Wild Cats from 8:30-11:00pm

Truck rides on Old #1 from 4:30-8:30pm

Free photo booth with props, photos will be available on our page at no cost

Kid zone with lots of fun stuff
