TOMORROW, WE RIDE TO MANCHESTER! 🏇
{NEW RELEASE}
Little Strange - Hard Days Hard Time’
Following on from their impressive self-produced single, 'I Get By', the band have not allowed the dust to settle before deciding on their next move. Produced by songwriter/guitarist, Olly Davis, this latest offering from Little Strange is an instant earworm. Driven by the thunderous rhythm section of Charlie Harris & Jack Clynes, Davis' fuzz-tinged guitar lines marry perfectly with Jamie Thompson's overdriven vocal tones to provide a heady cocktail; fitting enough to soundtrack the listener's next main character moment.
Catch them this Saturday at The Peer Hat supporting Midnight Rodeo >> https://linktr.ee/happydazetickets
Building on the excitement of their previous releases, this headstrong track is a true statement of intent from Little Strange. Combining a tasteful blend of tones with introspective lyricism, this is by far the band's most powerful release to date. As singer Jamie Thompson adds, "The cool answer would be to describe this one as, 'the little bastard brother of Arctic Monkeys' AM, raised by Hunter S. Thompson on a diet of B-movies', but truthfully, that isn't what this song is about. It's about being in your own head and doubting yourself."
Uninterested in fads and viral trends, the band's authenticity is what drives them forward. Adopting the mantra, 'alt-rock for all', the group's message is a simple statement of inclusivity which can be felt by the warmth generated by their crowds. Boasting a timeless sound which resonates with audiences of all ages and backgrounds, Little Strange are road-ready to play venues anywhere their journey takes them. Operating independently, the band are four friends simply doing it for themselves. Buckle up, The Strange are coming.

Beige Banquet - Animals
Phantasmagoria 2023 headliners Beige Banquet have got a HEAVY new track just in time for you lot who are coming down to Hyde Park Book Club this coming Saturday.

The track explores darker and more desolate themes and captures the uncompromising force of their live performances. Listen >> https://youtu.be/P045oviOixI?feature=shared

Through dark and progressive Art-Rock angst that twists through the realms of Krautrock, Post Punk and New Wave, Dim Imagery are a live revelation. The five piece from Leeds are explosive and unhinged, they thread the needle on which they balance with the poise and precision of a band years down the line from where they currently stand.
FFO: Protomartyr, Preoccupations & Bauhaus
{NEW RELEASE}
Captain Starlet with Self Portrait
The Leeds-based outfit return with their new single release ‘self-portrait.’ Recorded at Young Thugs studios over a weekend in April, the track sees the band broadening their sonic horizons whilst also staying true to their melodic and vibrant style. Listen >> https://tr.ee/jp18Vo3W00
Brothers Tom (vox, guitar) and Ethan (guitar) Carroll work in tandem; the former’s bright vocals are compliment by the latter’s jangly guitar playing to create something powerful and compelling. The locked-in synergy of Sam Festenstein’s (bass) and Cam Baker’s (drums) playing carries the track through towards its manic finale.
Catch them supporting Midnight Rodeo with Baby Vanga and Frankie Statham on Friday 1 December. Tickets >> https://linktr.ee/happydazetickets

Helicon - Glasgow have released ‘Flume’, the first single from their third studio album ‘God Intentions' due out on April 28th via Fuzz Club. Heading to Helicons home turf of Glasgow with an idea to create a “A bizarre journey of memory & experience propelled from moment to moment through a psychedelic log flume”, Sophie Barrott with Tom Edwards shot around the city over a dreary January weekend which turned into what Fuzz Club Records described as as “a masterclass in cinematic psychedelia”. Take a plunge into Flume >> https://youtu.be/9oCx5K3ZtVw The album was recorded at Dystopia Glasgow with producers Luigi Pasquini and Jason Shaw, mastered by RIDE’s Mark Gardener and includes contributions from the Rhona MacFarlane String Quartet, Lavinia Blackwall (Trembling Bells), Mark O’Donnell (Tomorrow Syndicate), Sotho Houle (French avant-garde violinist) and Anna McCracken. John-Paul Hughes said this about the LP “‘God Intentions’ is inspired by my brother Gary's story and a few other influences. It's a journey through regret, redemption and resurrection. Our familiar darkness is there, but the record carries a fresh and uplifting positivity. I had a clear idea of how I wanted it to sound and feel long before it began. We're so pleased we achieved it.” Promo clips and Video by Sophie Barrott from Happy Daze and Thomas Edwards Photography
