Niamh & Liam got married!

Autumn is my favourite time of year to shoot. It's not too hot, the trees are bursting with colour and sun is more flattering being lower on the horizon. We had glorious sunshine and blue skies all day until about 6pm when the rain descended - but rather than see this as a negative, I used this to our advantage to get this cracker of a shot. The rain added this wonderful shine to the paving stones to contribute to this beautiful portrait of Niamh & Liam.

A big shout out to the team at The Ashes Barn in Endon. Great team, magical venue (and our videographer Mike loved it as it was only five minutes from his house!).

Back at the end of August I found myself in the picturesque town of Church Stretton for the wedding of Anna & Conor. I adore Church Stretton as a frequent visitor to the nearby hills for walks with my dog. It was a glorious day, lots of smiling, happy faces. And what a great couple too. Congratulations Mr & Mrs McDaid!

Georgie & Alex got married! Here the delightful pair enjoy a private picnic by the lake before greeting their guests at the stunning Astbury Resort in Bridgnorth. This, quite frankly, is a brilliant idea. I see it all too often my couples rarely get a look in at the canapés after the ceremony (as well as getting no time to themselves) so this is GENIUS. I got to ride in a golf buggy too so that's a bonus, took a quick snap and left them to it. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Ashfield!

The dress took about 120 hours to be made by hand, by couture designer, Reagen Evans.

Fran & Zak got married! Here the beautiful couple nipped out with me last weekend for some sunset portraits at the amazing The Blakelands Estate in Bobbington, Staffordshire (probably the closest wedding venue to where we are based so it's awfully convenient too haha). We were aiming to go out later than this as sunset was not for another few hours but something in the back of my mind told me to go outside right that moment. We managed to capture the sun gently peeking over the tree line for this wonderful shot in the long grass. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Bird.

It's been a rather busy 10 days which had us capture not one, not two but FIVE WEDDINGS. Here we have a terrific snap of Brooke & Alex from their wedding last weekend at Cheswell Grange, Newport. Absolute naturals in front of the camera and that dress - that gorgeous piece was designed by Brooke's own brother. Very talented indeed (and I can only imagine what incredible pressure that would have been!). Congratulations Mr & Mrs Jones.

The moment the beautiful bride Hannah realised there was a very special guest in hiding - her horse Splash. Thinking it would be impossible to bring him to her wedding, her family pulled some strings for him to make a secret appearance right after the ceremony.

Shannon & Dom got married! Saturday was our first wedding photography shoot of the year which saw this lovely pair do their "I Do's" at the spectacular in Staffordshire. Despite heavy rain, howling wind - and even a hailstorm on arrival - the sun came out at exactly the right time as Shannon was preparing to walk down the aisle. A lovely relaxed day in classy surroundings with everyone having a great time.

Melts ya heart don't it? Here the lovely Jennifer & Tom share an embrace moments after officially becoming Mr & Mrs Harries. The wonderful look on Jennifer's face - now that's true love. And let's also give props to the stunning venue South Farm in Royston, Hertfordshire. A venue so pretty there's not enough hours in the day to take pictures in all the amazing locations they have.

A gorgeous autumnal engagement shoot last year at one of my favourite places - Highgate Common in Enville, Staffordshire. I had the pleasure of stalking Niamh & Liam for an hour taking loads of great pics and having a laugh. Flashback to summer 2023 where I captured a wonderfully intimate wedding at Shrewsbury Castle, Shrewsbury between Emma & Leslie. A classy but relaxed ceremony in brilliant surroundings, I was only with them for a few hours but I still ended up with hundreds of photos!

Happy 2024 folks! Let's start the year with a wonderful, magical shot from the incredibly beautiful Hundred House Weddings in Norton, Telford. The venue is unassuming from the road, a nice little pub as you pass it, however, when you step in you are transported to these gorgeous, fairytale-like grounds which have been curated with ornaments over the past 30-years. And this was an extra special moment for the venue - this was their first ever outdoor ceremony so I'm honored to have captured it. I loved how intimate it felt, no chairs, family and friends stood closely around - and the striking autumn colours! The best part of this wedding though it was for two of my friends Seg & Josh - congratulations Mr & Mrs Smith!

We photographed (and filmed) our final wedding of the summer season on Saturday which can only mean one thing - LOTS AND LOTS OF EDITING TO DO!!! It's been an amazing summer meeting the dozens of newly married couples and the thousands of family & friends they invited. We've worked with some ace suppliers, awesome venues and ate some absolutely delicious wedding food. Here is a snap from Adam & Liza's wedding at the stonkingly beautiful Combermere Abbey Weddings in Whitchurch, Shropshire. Being good sports, I took advantage of a little rain and a late finish and got Adam & Liza outside to get this cracker of a photo. Gorgeous if I do say so myself. I'm extremely excited to send all of our newly married couples their pics & videos soon as they are ready.

Jade & James got married! Despite the rainy weather a few weekends ago (and boy did it rain and rain) these fine folks never let that get in the way of a good photo opportunity. A quick evening dash out onto the grounds of Uxbridge Golf Club - Hole 19 ltd and we got this belter of an image.
