Event and wedding work is fun but very hard! Timeing and fluidity is crucial to accomplishing set up in a timely manner.
If you are looking for a terrific venue I would highly reccomend the Constantine House on Richland Ave! Cody Anderson provided an atmosphere of ease and simplicity from set up through tear down. It was a seamlessly successful experience.

CALL YOUR LOCAL FLORIST when you want a local delivery

Today I got an order from Ruth's Florist. They are a wire service out of NJ. The order was for a local delivery from a local company to someone at a local company.

The order came in at 1:45pm wanting same day delivery by 4:30p for flowers I did not have in stock.

The wire service takes 30% off the top!
Gives no second choice for substitutions and sets the local florist up for a disappointed customer. CALL YOUR LOCAL FLORIST.

Read the listing on the internet. See where the florist you are choosing is located. Look for your LOCAL FLORIST

Aiken has several really good florists who will do what they can to help you out. Help your local florist to help you. Why give 30% to an order taker when you can support your local florists?

When I let Ruth's know I did not have the flowers and would be able to deliver the requested flowers tomorrow after I obtain what the sender wanted, the order got canceled. Maybe Ruth's contacted another shop and the order got filled, I don't know.
I do know if that happened Ruth's out of NJ got 30% of the order!
