- Wtf are Cliptunes, Quietcore and Freezestep, anyway? They're all hilarious hardware malfunctions relating to webstreaming -- taken from The Awesome End of Summer Webshow Party. Cliptunes are a chiptune song that clips (is being broadcasted too loudly that it caused distortion on the listening end) all the way through. Quietcore is when nothing is playing through the stream, but the artist seems to think so. Freezestep is just stream lag.
