Happy CSA-eve, flower friends! Farm to Fist CSA bouquet subscription sales will open up on our website tomorrow morning, Small Business Saturday.

“CSA” stands for “community-supported agriculture” and in short, it means that YOU (the CSA member) directly get to know your farmer (ME) by subscribing to our farm’s harvest. Your upfront fees help us to purchase the upfront costs of farming (seeds, compost, and other supplies) and in return, you receive the bounty of our harvest throughout the summer.

Full-share members receive 10 bouquets (one every Friday), and half-share members receive 5 bouquets (one every other Friday).

We offer pick-up locations here at Farm to Fist in Hammond and at Barlow Roots Market in Hudson.

With each purchase, you receive a CSA membership card to use as a gift for a loved one or a happy reminder to yourself of blooms to come.

Our CSA members are the heartbeat of our farm, and we love sharing our blooms (and lives) with you!

Bouquets have just been delivered to Barlow Roots Market in Hudson!! Autumn is calling, so this could very well be your last chance at Farm to Fist flowers for the year! They still have plenty of veggies, eggs, and other goodies to pick up while you’re there.

My dear flower-loving friends, we have reached our LAST official weekend of the Farm to Fist farm stand for the 2024 season! Open Fri-Sun, self-serve cash or Venmo.

You might see some bouquets here and there at Barlow Roots Market in Hudson as the flowers continue to trickle in, but our main focus will shift to fall cleanup and planting. Grab some blooms while you still can!

Aren’t September flowers just the best?!? Ok, yes, I say that about June and July and August as well, but I do really really love September blooms!

I blinked, and here we are- our very last week of CSA bouquets for 2024!

This week’s bouquets are an absolute FEAST for the olfactory senses! Sweet Annie, basil aromatto, and millet all combine for a sniff that’s bright and citrusy, herbal with a hint of anise, and just a little bit sweet. Close your eyes and relax for a moment as you breathe in and take a quick pause during this busy September season.

This is a full share only week; bouquets are ready for pick up at all locations.

To all of our wonderful CSA members, thank you for all of your support! Our group feels like one big family each year, and we absolutely love sharing our blooms and our lives with you ❤️. Shares for 2025 will open up on our website on Small Business Saturday.

This is our last CSA week for our half share members, so we went BIG! BOLD! BRAVE!

We hope this bouquet of happiness is one to be remembered ❤️.

This is a full share + half share week; full share members, we’ll see you for one more bouquet next week.

Farm stand will be open today at 3/Saturday at 10/Sunday at 10 with bouquets for purchase.

This week’s CSA bouquets are dark and moody, just like last night’s sky 😳.

We are safe here after the storm, and hope you all are well, too!

It’s CSA Day!! Bouquets this week ooze “BACK TO SCHOOL BONFIRE” vibes… when everyone has been busy all summer and friends come together to enjoy music, fire, and each other’s company before school starts again; when friends get together one last time before heading off their separate ways to college or jobs; when the fire is hot but the evening air feels chilly and your hooded sweatshirt feels perfectly cozy.

This week is a FULL SHARE ONLY week; half share members, we will see you back next week. Pick ups available at Farm to Fist after 10am and Barlow Roots Market after 12pm.

A reminder that we will have bouquets and veggies available for purchase at our farm stand in Hammond this weekend- open today after 3pm and Saturday and Sunday after 10am!

Happy CSA Friday!! When the plants speak, I listen, and this week the field said, “Hello August!” Hot Biscuits amaranth, sunflowers, and Alpenglow zinnias give these bouquets a warm August vibe that makes you want to bask in the sun and eat some sweet corn ☀️.

Well, we’ve wrapped up another absolutely amazing season here on the farm! A huge, huge thank you to all of our patrons. We feel like we’re all one big family, and that’s the way it should feel with your local farmer! We try to do as much a possible in the fall in order to make our lives just a little simpler come spring 😊. This is how we put it all to bed here at Farm to Fist!

Our Story

Farm to Fist is a two-part enterprise consisting of Farm to Fist Brewing and Farm to Fist Hops, Flowers, and Events. Farm to Fist Brewing is primarily operated by Greg Barlow, and Farm to Fist Hops, Flowers, and Events is primarily farmed and operated by Kaaren Barlow.

Our inspiration for the business arose out of a market demand for ingredients and products to be produced locally on a small scale. We want our Farm to Fist Brewing customers to see and experience where their beer was made, as well as the ingredients that went into it. We want to share the beauty of our land with our Hops, Flowers, and Events customers so that couples can host the wedding of their dreams using our flowers, walking trails, event tent, and beer!

Farm to Fist embodies the farm-to-table movement and is truly about the high quality goods and unique customer experience you receive here: bring your family for the day and enjoy a stroll through our orchard, sit on our taproom patio and overlook our hop yards as you sip a beer made with those very hops, or get married in a clear tent under the stars surrounded by farm-fresh flowers.
