First Friday In July 2012 the Hilo Town Artwalk (First Friday) was born. This is a page for the Hilo Town Tavern's Entertainment line-up and contribution.

Created by a handful of artists, business owners and organizers, it has continued to strive to the present day. Every First Friday at the Hilo Town Tavern you can find funky Dj's cutting it up, local artists creating on the spot, dope emcees rocking the mic, and killer bands taking the stage. The event is free of charge, and rages all night. Hosted by Kapena Boyd and Phreewil with resident Dj Soda X
