THE WAVE.......
We can all agree that DJs in Uganda have come a long way and have pushed hard to create the reputation they have. If u asked anyone 5 or so years back what the title DJ meant to them, you would get comments like players, unschooled,egotistic,womanisers the list is endless. I am glad that in my generation the Individual Dj personalities I have come to know and interact with on a personal level take there work seriously and execute with the utmost professionalism case in point @Dj Kasbaby focussed, composed, respects his following well enough to know what works with different age brackets while on his various weekly gigs
So we started out together in Mukono while still at campus playing at the big bars there Casablanca, The Hive. It was too rewarding at the end of the night when we went to collect our fee of 50000 u can imagine. So the passion for what we were doing came first then the money followed. The goal here was to connect different people through music. Five years down the road we still here and I personally want to thank all the support team out there.
My message today centers around chasing what one is passionate about. Don't let good talent go to waste. “Nothing pays more than talent”. NOTHING
