Q***r, Berlin-based DJ & selector
Q***r, Berlin-based record collector, selector, and DJ. Manager and resident for the independent record label and party series Leisure System. Mostly known for her eclectic, experimental and dancefloor-oriented mix of techno, electro, and breakbeats.
Golden Medusa (aka Lara Golz) moved to Berlin in 2011. In 2016 her friend & mentor Konx-om-Pax invited her to play her first DJ set for his "Caramel" record release party. Since joining the record label & event series Leisure System in 2017, she’s made regular appearances at Griessmühle, ://about blank, Säule, Berghain and OHM, as well as at notorious events like Herrensauna and Atonal festival. She also co-hosted and curated the Leisure System Radio show from 2017-2018, alongside Sam Barker. As an avid digger and record collector, Golz is capable of creating immersive and genre-bending sets that seamlessly combine vinyl and digital. Her rapid rise in the Berlin underground scene is due to her technical acumen, but also her selection; her wildly eclectic, bold and skillful sets are known to span electro, breakbeats, experimental, techno and club music, and have earned her slots alongside artists like Legowelt, Dasha Rush, Jimmy Edgar, Djrum and more.
