Once upon a time there was this little girl, she followed us everywhere. No matter what kind of trouble or no good business we were getting into, she was right there, wanting to get into trouble as well, just to be like us. Her favorite meal was chicken fingers no matter what restaurant we were at. There is not a memory of my childhood, that I don’t remember her being in. And then one day, you get a letter in the mail, “you’re invited” she is having an engagement party. Then you show up to the engagement party and you realize you can’t type this without bawling your eyes out. You show up to her engagement party and she looks like the most beautiful woman you’ve seen in a long time. And then you watch a video after they toast to the guests and realize that this little girl who followed you everywhere who used to only eat chicken fingers ended up having a surprise elopement and she got married! I’ve never seen her smile, so big and so much joy in her heart. And while she is this beautiful woman, I would like her to know that whenever she laughs, I can still hear that little girl that used to follow me around. But I have to say I look up to you as you as you once did to me. I am so proud of you and I hope you always eat chicken fingers.

Grange Fair Horse Schooling Show 2023. Avery piloted Donnie D, and took home her first Blue Ribbon (First Place!) In Dressage Intro Test A! She got a yellow ribbon (3rd place) in Dressage Intro Test B.

These two are an amazing duo!

It was sunset on Lake Erie. The only sound was the water hitting the rocks and the wind. With little commentary, we did Rachel and Justin’s final photographs. I think there is nothing more peaceful in the world than an elopement. You’re standing there, on the ledge of the rocks, taking in the sunset with your new husband, and all you feel is peace. Just total peace. Shot on film 🎞️
