My own personal collection of succulents and cacti started in 2015. Since then, I have learned so much about how to care for, propagate and decorate with succulents. Recently, I have expanded this love for drought tolerant plants with air plants. Making arrangements, gifts and special orders for other people has started out of this simple hobby.

I usually focus on succulents but living in East Tennessee now and having to embrace a different climate than California, I’m branching out and growing a more sustainable garden. Vegetables, fruits and herbs, along with flowers from seed and bulb is what I’ve been doing for the last month. I have heavily relied on for great tips and easy practices for growing a huge variety of things. Swipe to see my progress so far.

Think outside the box when displaying your air plants! Hat tip to my husband for this idea-a repurposed wine bottle wall rack from . Plants certainly outnumber wine bottles in this house so why not 🤷🏻‍♀️

Sempervivums (hens and chicks) thrive in rock gardens with little to no dirt. I make my own using a large terra cotta saucer and lava rocks. As more “chicks” are sent out from the “hen” they will cover more surface of the rocks. I’ve been growing semps this way for years with great success!
