Our Story
Hey Sassy Friends, I’m Areina. Creator and Hostess of Areina’s Sassy Succulents. I’m a succulent lover from WAY back, before they were trendy like they are today. I was always making cute little arrangements and planters and posting to social media “look what I made!”. But, I was at a point in my life where I was desperate for a hobby with some meaning, some substance- I was begging for a sign to tell me what to do! With a lot of encouragement from my friends in the Sunshine Squad (amazing and talented women on their own journey to create art), they hyped me up enough to want to bring my love of succulents and DIY together to create a small local business! That is how Sassy Succulents was born...
I wanted to do something that was unique, fun and trendy- not your average home based party where someone is selling you more candles or food storage items! The idea is to get your nearest and dearest together, pour some wine & have some snacks, and use your creativity to make a gorgeous succulent arrangement that you can take home or give as a gift. All this done in a relaxed, no pressure atmosphere, full of laughs and you guessed it- SASS! In addition to home based parties, I also partner with local restaurants for workshops, that way you can skip the cleanup. I’m right there with you every step of the way, teaching you how it’s done.
