Wee visit over east - bit windy to say the least but had the pleasure of visiting Krakatoa for a few libations on Saturday. First time in the Tiki bar and a long long long time since I was in The Moorings. Loved it !! Magic staff. Managed to catch Deary Me and Audiokicks. Ironically I missed the only Inverness band of the evening - sorry The Idiotix :(

This comes out tomorrow. It features the wonderful talents of a certain Isaac Sutherland on lead guitar. It’s one of the eleven tracks on my upcoming ‘Broken Yankee Jukebox’ album, which is due on Valentine’s Day next month. Now here’s the pitch: there’s over a thousand of you on this page. If one hundred of you stick your hands in your virtual pocket and download this tune for only £1 (you can pay more if you like), then it will go some considerable way toward me getting actual CDs printed for the new album. If two hundred of you download it, it will help my label recoup some of the many ££s they have invested in me. I’m not on a mission to line my pockets here- but I am on a mission to get as much of my music out there in the finite amount of time I have left on this planet. I am not joking when I say I have hundreds of songs waiting to get out there and I hope that I can achieve this- but I need your help. Putting out music ain’t free, and it ain’t cheap. Streaming’s ok but it don’t pay to get my music out there, no matter what Daniel Ek says about ‘content’.
