Last 2 Eagle Endurance, LLC events are rapidly approaching... November 18-19 and December 2nd. In need of some volunteers for these races. Please consider volunteering if you can! I have known Kayla for a few years and I am excited that she has picked up some of my trail running events to continue being a part of the Charleston trail running scene. I know she will do great and continue torturing trail runners for years to come! Please support Palmetto Ultras so the events can continue and grow!!

Hard to believe that there were zero trail races in the immediate Charleston area prior to the 1st Dirt Dash (Francis Marion Dirt Dash) way back in 2010. I'm proud of everything Eagle Endurance, LLC has done and am excited to move forward with some new ideas!

Since 2010 Eagle Endurance, LLC has brought people together from literally, all over the world...to suffer through some of the best/crappy conditions imaginable. After a lot of thought and after talks with family and friends, I have decided to stop hosting running events as of the end of this year. I still plan to do the events I am hired to do such as the Hot Pursuit 5k, SPAR 5k and the Coastal Christian Beach Run...and whatever might pop up in the future.

I know I would have never met 90% of you if it wasn't for these events.

It's a ton of work hosting events as a one man company. If it wasn't for all the volunteers throughout the years, I would have never been able to do it. Huge thank you to all that have helped me. You really are the backbone to all my events.

Big THANK YOU to Kevin and Anne as well as Geoff and Heather who really became fixtures at the aid station over the years!

Thank you sponsors! I have appreciated all of the support you have given me over the years.

This wasn't an easy decision as I do enjoy torturing most of you with these events.

Salkehatchie Shuffle on September 9th
The Dirt Dash on September 19th
The Swamp Fox Ultra on November 18th
and the Last Chance Trail Run on December 2nd

It's been awesome hosting the races in such a great spot.

I wish more people showed up to participate in the events! Especially the locals!!!

I have seen so many of you go from 5k to 100+ miles. It's been an awesome ride.

Trail Club Members...Payments will go through December and then will stop.

I hope to see as many of you as I can between now and the end of the year!

The 14th Annual Dirt Dash is September 16th at Johns Island County Park!! Offering distances of 5k, 10k, 13.1 miles and 26.2 miles on an awesome course!! Camping is available and there are facilities on site to shower after the event!!

I want to thank everyone that came out to the 10th Annual Hell Hole Hundred this past weekend. It was an unusual experience for sure! Chilly temperatures, limited flooding and almost no bugs!
Critters were definitely on the move as plenty of people saw copperheads, boars, water moccasins, huge spiders and a couple of alligators and a bobcat!!
It was great seeing so many familiar and new faces out there! lots of people from all over the place!
Course records were also set by.....
Craig Wiltshire in the 16.3 mile run 1:53:01
Christina Couper in the 50k with a time of 4:25:47
Brenda Johnson in the 100 miler with a time of 21:09:02
and...
Brandon Johnston in the 140.6 mile run with a time of 36:17:41!!
Special shout out to Carl Kidwell who ran the 100 mile event and closed out the missing buckle from his collection of 212 and 140.6 mile buckles. He is 1 of only a couple of people that have all three buckles!
Big thanks to the volunteers for coming out to help with the event.
