2.3.25 - Weekly Brief

We are a couple of days away from our two month countdown to the McCook Open. Registration will open on Wednesday evening, so check it out and make sure you get signed up. The player pack information will be posted as soon we finalize some details for it.

1.27.25 - Weekly Brief

This Wednesday registration opens up for our second event of the year. We are always grateful to be running events in Kearney, especially when it is at one of Nebraska's OG disc golf courses. Check out the link below for more information and to register come Wednesday evening.

Another friendly reminder that we are rolling out our event sign-up two months prior to the event. That means The McCook Open registration will be opening up in just a little over a week!

In the next couple of weeks you should start to see more of our events up on discgolfscene, including some that didn't make the initial event list posted earlier this month. It will be another busy and fulfilling year for Disc Gauntlet. Stay tuned...

1.20.25 - Weekly Brief

We hope everyone is enjoying the comforts of inside these past few days. Hats off to all of you that have to work outside and keep the world turning in these winter months.

We are grateful for a wonderful 2024 season. With that, we are looking forward to the 2025 season and it is that time of year when we look for tee sign sponsors. We would love to fill our tee sign sponsors and provide the best events we possibly can to our competitors. Our tee sign sponsors give us the opportunity to build up a payout that keeps competitors, ams and pros, coming back.

1.13.25 - Weekly Brief

We have some details for our first event of the 2025 season. We are kicking off the year with the Flatrock Pro/Am Sponsored by Visit North Platte. It is back as a B-Tier, with $2500 added cash to the pro divisions and a minimum of $500 added to the amatuer divisions!

Flatrock is a two day event that will take place the weekend of March 15th -16th. This is a friendly reminder that your PDGA membership needs to be current. The event will be ran like last year, with practice rounds available at the golf course on Friday, sanctioned rounds Saturday and Sunday, and a little Texas Hold'em Saturday night.

We are excited to announce that we will be getting our player pack through Trash Panda Disc Golf. The deal is great for our amateurs(it is valued more than your entry costs) and it is a great company for disc golf sustainability. Check out the flyer for more info regarding the player pack items.

A new change this year is our registration schedule. We will be posting our events over the next couple of weeks, and registration for them will open two months prior to the event date. So registration for Flatrock will open Wednesday evening at 8pm.

We are excited to announce the current lineup of events for the 2025 season. We are hoping to add to this list in the next few weeks as we work with some other disc golf communities. A few noteworthy items:

- 6 B-Tiers slated for the year. That is a minimum of $4500 added cash to the pro divisions across those events. We plan on keeping up with our fundraising efforts to add to that amount.

- All of our B-Tiers will have added cash to the amatuer payouts. Along with added prize money, we will have multiple new brands to our player packs.

- We are traveling to Norton, KS to vend for the Norton Open. We want to thank Tim Cummings for the opportunity to continue to vend the event.

- York Throwdown is back, and we are excited to run this on a temporary course at one of the premiere park spaces in York, NE.

- Take the Lake will go back to a one day event. Both rounds will be at Lake Hastings.

There are multiple events that are not listed yet. There will be more vending opportunities and events to be ran this year. So mark your calendars for some Disc Gauntlet staples, and stay tuned...

THE WEEKLY BRIEF IS BACK!

We hope everyone is off to a good start for 2025. This morning we reflected on our 2024 Disc Gauntlet tour winners. Tonight we look at a vital part of 2025. Congratulations to our 2025 Disc Gauntlet team. We are happy to have these individuals represent Disc Gauntlet in their local disc golf communities and at disc golf events across the country.

Thanks to everyone who applied to be a part of the team. Keep on throwing and competing and we look forward to seeing you next year.
