Farmhouse Catering We are a family owned catering company committed to serving you! With over 20 years of experience, Hospitality has always been a big part of my life.

Having grown up at one of the largest camps/conference centers in Iowa, I was given many opportunities starting at a young age to cook, serve and clean. It is so ingrained in me that I can't imagine doing anything else as a vocation.

Our Employee Spotlight shines today on Chiara! Chiara has been a dedicated member of the Farmhouse Catering and Gatherings Event Venue team for over three years. This busy young lady is a Nevada high school student and has managed to balance her school work, two jobs and significant involvement with school drama and choir. On top of all that, she enjoys playing tennis, is a quick learner and a hard worker on the courts. She currently holds a spot on the varsity tennis team!

Chiara is a valued member of our serving team and truly appreciates the opportunities she has to connect with our guests. Her cheerful smile is infectious, and she is well-liked by her coworkers and those we serve. Her top recommendation from the Farmhouse Catering menu is the Cheesy Potatoes! Today our spotlight shines on Naomi!
Naomi has been a part of the Farmhouse Catering and Gatherings Event Venue team for a year now; her passion for food and hospitality is contagious! She is homeschooled and dual-enrolled with Ames High School. Her favorite Farmhouse Catering food is..."All of It!" Naomi says she really enjoys getting to feed people and watching them celebrate their special occasions. She also loves the camaraderie of our fantastic staff!

Outside of work and school, Naomi's favorite activity is getting to cook for her family. (That is an awesome teenager!) She would like to be a chef in the future. Naomi, we are so happy to have you on the staff of Farmhouse Catering and Gatherings Event Venue. We look forward to working with you and are excited about your future endeavors! Your dedication to hospitality and love for food shines through!

We're excited to get to shine a spotlight on one of our favorite employees, Olivia! Olivia has been with us for the past four years as a server and now as an event coordinator. She is currently pursuing her education with DMACC. When she's not working or studying, she enjoys listening to music and spending quality time with friends. Olivia shared that she really enjoys the service aspect of her job. She loves taking a special event for our guests and figuring out ways to make it even better! She also appreciates the great staff she gets to work with. She loves the Farmhouse Catering food that she gets to serve, but is especially fond of the Gourmet Mac and Cheese. (We couldn't agree more!) Keep up the fantastic service, Olivia! You inspire all of us with your attention to detail and outstanding performance!
