Before the smoke bombs and motorcycles… There were pumpkins. 🎃📸

This was one of those shoots where the idea just hit, and I knew exactly who I wanted for it—Cody & Carla. No pitch, no convincing. I had a plan, they showed up, and we made it happen.

We carved up some pumpkins, hit the woods, and created one of my favourite fall-inspired photo sets ever. Weird, moody, a little spooky, and totally awesome.

It was the first of a few creative shoots we’ve done together—and honestly, it sparked something. I love doing weddings, but shoots like this? They’re fuel for the creative fire.

A couple months after Cody & Carla tied the knot, I had an idea I couldn’t shake…

Motorcycles + smoke bombs + newlyweds = 🔥

So we made it happen. We found the perfect spot, brought the bikes out, lit the smoke, and just let the creativity flow. These two were totally down for the ride (literally) and brought the energy like pros.

Had my second shooter Joy along to capture some awesome shots for her portfolio, and her boyfriend jumped in to help wrangle the smoke bombs like a champ. It turned into one of those shoots that reminds me how much I love creating something different—something bold, personal, and a little badass.

This wasn’t just a photoshoot—it was an experience. And I can’t wait to do more sessions like this in the future. Let’s break the mold.
