What a year 2020 has been 😱
Ups and downs for us all - but most importantly for me, it was a year of exciting business growth + time with my beautiful family.
It’s hard to believe we managed to squeeze so many events pre lockdown + post lockdowns! Here’s just a snippet of some of our jobs over this year... with lots more sitting deep in my phone to share one day 📸
Thank you to all of our lovely clients who have continued to support us over such an up + down year ❤️ I can honestly say - I still do a little happy dance each + every booking that comes our way 💕

A few weeks ago we received a DM from a lovely client, who wanted to help her brother pop the question 💍
It was short notice, but if we have the capacity we are more than happy to help as best we can in any time frame ❤️
Em popped by in the next few days + picked up one of our DIY pop up picnic packages for two 🥂
She absolutely nailed the set up + I got reports back that her sister in law to be did too ❤️💍

There are lots of BTS work that goes into our Pop Up Picnics! If you ever wonder why businesses have a certain price point on their service/product, there’s most likely a reason for that amount...
Here are just some of the things we do to make sure our signature picnics are worth every cent 👇🏼
✨ Quoting + planning with our clients: we love planning with you + always go out of our way to make sure your event is everything you wished for
✨ Prepping: this part takes a while! We pack everything ready to go. Everything has been washed/sanitized since our last event, but we like to re sanitize + wash everything before each event so it’s fresh for your event! This part can take up to an hour, depending on booking.
✨ Delivery time: Once all packed, we make our way to your chosen location. Most suburbs are free delivery, so this is just part of the package.
✨ Unpacking time: We definitely don’t shortchange you with our packages - we usually make 5-7 trips from the car with our picnic goodies!
✨ Set up time: where we work our magic. Rugs, cushions, table settings, decor, styling + perfecting
✨ We leave + let you enjoy your event 🥂
✨ We come back later to packup + take everything home... yet we don’t stop here!
✨ Unpacking the car, washing, sanitizing + putting everything back in its place at ASW headquarters (usually takes 1hour or more, depending on how many items we have to wash, sanitize + put away).
✨ Also add in hand sanitizing x million in between + processing bond returns ❤️
If you made it this far... you would see how much work, love + care goes into our biz (min 5 hours per package + organising our little one to be cared for + I’m sure I’ve forgotten processes too). I guess when you divide the above by our pricing, I’m sure we are just hitting minimum wage 🤣💕 but that’s ok, because we love what we do + we love making our services at an affordable pric
Flashback to warmer days, pop up picnic’ing in the wilderness 🍃✨
As much as I love the warmth in summer, I looooove cosy days inside like this afternoon, when it’s freeeeeezing outside (and trust me, it’s freezing, I just did the mad dash outside to grab clothes off the line, thanks rain 🌧❄️)
Who else is snuggled up on the couch forgetting about any adult responsibilities this afternoon? 🙋🏼♀️🤣
