Rahsaan is a talented DJ with a long history in the area, now based in Japan. He has also opened up concerts as a DJ for acts like Bomba Estereo, Manu Chao, Cultura Profetica, and Calle 13 and has a regular radio show Viajando! on

Puerto Rico is in the house tomorrow Friday 2/28 at .melobar! is sharing decks with 🇵🇷🐸 Yurk, a dynamic producer and DJ from Puerto Rico, is making waves in Brooklyn’s music scene with his electrifying fusion of Latin rhythms and global electronic beats. His releases on local labels like Mechanical and Chomp Chomp! showcase his signature sound. As the mastermind behind Organized Disorder, he curates a biweekly radio show and helms Sangre Nueva, an all-vinyl monthly event, alongside the Saoco! Party—both dedicated to celebrating Caribbean and outernational music.

This Friday 11.22 returns to .melobar for our monthly residency Zona Libre Presents: special guest is a UK based DJ with Nigerian roots, pushing African dance music from soukous to juju on dancefloors on both sides of the Atlantic. Dare is the founder of resident of radio with excellent sessions on & .radio
Dare challenges the Western-centric narrative of “dance music,” incorporating Highlife, Makossa, Soukous, and other African genres into his sets and productions. We couldn't be more thrilled to host him on the decks alongside resident .music
All night 9 to close.

They currently hold down a monthly residency at Mad Tropical every third Thursday. This month will be February 21st ZL: Carnival en Colombia with many special guests! tres dos and modrums frequently host live podcast/listening sessions in Brooklyn and turn out deep dive mixes all the time.
