Today’s Friday Faculty Feature is on Mr. Lance Hahn, the Kindergarten-to-8th Grade Vocal Music teacher who has been at Gesu and teaching for a total of three years!

-Question: Who would you say is your favorite saint?
-Hahn: My favorite Saint is Saint Kilian. Saint Kilian is one of many Irish missionaries to Europe in the sixth and seventh centuries. His memory is recalled today in both Ireland and Germany. He is not only the patron of the city Würzburg and the region of Bavaria, but also of many Catholic youth groups throughout Germany. His feast is observed on July 8. In Würzburg, his feast is marked by a week-long festival. My home Parish in Pittsburgh is also called St. Kilian Parish (Cranberry Township, PA)

-Q: What has been your favorite moment or activity from your time at Gesu?
-H: My favorite activities at Gesu are serving as Director of the Liturgical Choir, Moondawgs, Sports Anchor for The Gesu Sports Report and as a Resident DJ for all of Gesu’s special events.

-Q: What school(s) did you attend?
-H: Seneca Valley School District (Class of 2015), Baldwin Wallace University (Class of 2019)

-Q: What is a fun fact about yourself or something you like to do outside of Gesu?
