The Love of Food
My passion for food goes back to my childhood as I was the one responsible for the making the bread for our meal . My mother taught me to make biscuits and cornbread as I stood in a chair pulled up close enough to the countertop so that I could reach inside the oversized wooden bowl that had been passed down through our family. I continue to have the passion through the years but have a different respect and understanding of the power that each meal has as it brings people together whether it is for a simple meal or a formal affair , You hear people talk about their day , have a few laughs ,catch up with a friend.
