Padfoot

Padfoot is the psychedelic trance project of Luka Epstein, based in Cape Town, South Africa. Psy-trance has been the single most eye opening experience in his life, and has inspired him beyond measure. He stands by a belief that every person has their own realm within. Psychedelic music gatherings are a tool that allows us to access that realm, to expand it outward, and play around in it. He started this project with the intention of sharing these realms and aiding the freaks with their inner space explorations. He is an avid collector and lover of all things psychedelic, drawn toward the Darkpsy spectrum with spicy Forest flavours that make your ears tingle and hips wiggle. He is also a huge fan of Downtempo psychedelic beats and and Dark Prog.

Padfoot, a generally quiet, awkward and obscure creature entered this realm through a tear in space-time. He has found his place amongst the trance people who celebrate his language as some kind of ritualistic dance music. His own realm was reflected in the wacky ways of the trance dance floor - he felt at home for the first time in his life, and resolved to immerse himself in the ridiculous nature of these gatherings. He now spends his days honing the craft of mad psychedelic sorcery in the hopes of guiding the sound lovers deeper into the next dimension.
