Good Times Gospel Music Festival Ed Huffman and I have decided to combine our efforts to create the Good Times Gospel Music Festival.

We are looking at doing this twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall, as so many of you have indicated how much you enjoy the get togethers for fun, food, and fellowship. When the food begins, it's like a Baptist convention, and when the playing/singing starts, it's like a Pentacostal convention! It is a great time for all and remember, this is for you, all you wonderful ministers of

music and those who support and have supported these wonderful people for years. For those of you who haven't attended one of these yet, we keep it low key and without a program, but with plenty of what I mentioned earlier - fun, food, and fellowship. We are still mindful of what the Lord has provided for us and are thankful for the bounties He has blessed us with. These events are done in a pot-luck style dinner, where everyone brings a dish to share with everyone, and I mean to tell you, there is always great food (and plenty of it), and many ministers of the music willing to donate their time to provide you with entertainment and a blessing. Announcements for these events will be sent out via Facebood and e-mails well in advance so you can mark your calendar before something else comes up. And remember folks, keep your CD's and tapes, 'cause Southern Gospel is going to rise again!
