Site visit of Select Event Group, Annapolis Maryland showroom. I was joined by Maria Miller from  Revolution and Justine Jenkins from Select. We enjoyed lunch in Annapolis on the water.

February adored another   gorgeous Wedding from
EDGE Floral Event Designers.
In the courtyard of the National Portrait Gallery DC, an install of a soft romantic lush Tuscany evening was a complete success. What I found to be most interesting was setting up this event with a few 100 guests of the gallery roaming aroun, enjoying the amazing orchid display,while at the same time touching our props,  chatting to staff and taking lots of pictures, while you’re weaving in and out of people, trying to get a wedding set up; it’s Cray Cray Cray sometimes! But in the end, it was a stunning wedding with an extremely happy bride, groom, parents and guests.

Had a nice day last October out at the Maryland 5 Star at Fair Hill with a couple of industry gals taking in the sites and amazing layout and setup of tents from Select Event Group. I’m with Select’s 3D Graphic Designer, Justine Jenkins, her drawings and the actual setups are uncanny. I’m amazed at their talents.

OK so here’s the before and after pictures … working with the amazing EDGE Floral Event Designers team and Kelly Jenkins.
Above the dance floor was a double tiered ceiling treatment of lush hanging florals; a two day job to complete.
The ceremony and the reception was just simply beautiful and lush with stunning flowers. The bride and groom and their parents were just overwhelmed with joy. It was a beautiful evening👏👏👏💝

I am writing to oppose the proposed development of 5901 Harford Road LLC into a large scale Royal Farms gas
station and convenience store (Appeal no. 2013-029) The proposed site is located in an established, residential
neighborhood, with a commercial corridor for small businesses. The scale of this project is one you would
expect on a large highway, not on a revitalized main street corridor and is not aligned with the community
development that has already taken place, since the plan was first proposed. [I am a resident of ‘your
neighborhood name’ ].

2 Together, our neighbors are working to make Hamilton a safer, more family friendly community. Many
families have bought homes in the Hamilton area specifically for its Main Street appeal that includes local
restaurants, coffee shops, a small theater (The Strand), and two Art Galleries all within a kilometer of the
proposed site. The proposed site is at a dangerous five-way intersection that borders public buildings such as
the Hamilton Library and Hamilton Elementary / Middle School. Adding a large scale gas station/convenience
store to this mix not only takes away from this appeal, it threatens the safety of pedestrians, local homeowners,
and local business owners.
3 This is not the first time this issue has come before the BMZA. In the past, all of the community
associations in the surrounding area of the proposed site voted unanimously to oppose the development of 5901
Harford Road into a Royal Farms. Please take this into consideration as you make your decision.

Tamber’s has a great party room for rent upstairs from the restaurant. Up to 100 guests, full bar, A delicious menu with a wonderful variety of items to choose from , tables, chairs and cloths are provided. A really fair rental price for all that is provided.
