Hi there! I’m Tanya: Wedding Coordinator with Nightingale Weddings & Events.

My background in the event industry has given me a unique perspective that I’m grateful for!

With over 11 years of experience, I have worked across a diverse spectrum of events, from the elegance of weddings to orchestrating non-profit events for hundreds of guests. Including working at a premier Connecticut based caterer, a popular winery wedding venue, and even a local bridal boutique, to name a few.

I honestly feel that my path has shaped me to have such a positive and calm demeanor during the hardest of challenges. I’m thankful for that!!

In 2021, I joined Nightingale as a day-of associate, supporting Lisa, and the rest was written in the stars!

My favorite part of my job is working with our clients to find vendors to bring their vision to life.

Here at NE we want you to not only love your vendors work but also love working with them so matching personalities is a big piece of our jobs as planners.

We like to present 3-4 vendors per category that could be a good fit for you to work with for your wedding. We like our clients to review their websites, social media accounts and proposals and then choose their top two vendors to have zoom calls with to see who they “click” with.

I like to remind clients you’re going to be working closely with these people throughout the planning process and on your wedding day so it’s important to like who you’re working with.

Friday felt like a good day to introduce myself- I’m Lisa owner + lead planner/designer here at NE

Besides being a East Coast wedding planner here are some fun facts about me:

•My go to order is a Reese’s peanut butter sundae with one scoop of pistachio ice cream and one scoop of cookie dough- don’t knock it till you try it..

•I love reality TV and right now is at the top of the list. I’m team Jimmy after the last few episodes but Chelsea I’m not crazy about …

•Go to drink at a wedding reception I’m working is a ice cold

•I just renewed my passport and have such an itch to go somewhere! Top places I’d love to go Greece and Hawaii or back to Italy since my husband has never been.

•I’m a dog mom to an adorable pitbull named Ruxin James- he’s my world 🌍

•I love a good spa day or weekend and in serious need of one! I have multiple gift cards from@clients to go-it’s just finding the time!

•My husband I have been together 13 years and met while walking down the aisle at a wedding we were both in.
