Congratulations to ME!
Last evening I was awarded recognition in the Chesterton Women’s Club, 71st Annual Art Exhibition.
I received Honorable mention, courtesy of patrons, Ann & Bruce Dechart, which means, cash prize - woo hoo😄!
I was honored, and very excited for my 16”x20” oil, “Aubrey’s Upset” to be acknowledged.
My last prize was in the 6th grade & I recieved 1st prize ( which I completely forgotten ) I haven’t exhibited too much until only recently though.
I included the Best of Show by, Mark Vander Vinne, for his lovely oil “Closer Together”( about 12”x12”)
The show will be presenting through July 5, over 120 works, at the Chesterton Art Center, it’s easy to find.
Many of the original works are representations of area dunes-scapes, & landscapes. Great additions for your home, support for area Artist. Original ART has good energy!
