Masters Transportation was established in 2004 by Jana and Gary Newsom, and provides professional, friendly Lake Norman & Charlotte area transportation services. Unlike other local transportation providers, we pride ourselves on establishing a great rapport with our clientele, and incorporate a sense of trust that is comparable to that of a family. Brief History of Masters Transportation

In 1999,

Gary Newsom took a part-time position working nights for a local limousine/black car company. During that tenure, Gary identified the lack of quality in how these local transportation companies navigated Lake Norman and disregarded the fact that it was becoming a hot destination. Being Lake Norman natives, the Newsoms left their jobs and finally embarked on a new entrepreneurial endeavor. After purchasing two Towncars and some hard work, which included cold-calling hotels and other businesses, as well as distributing fliers in the local area, Masters Transportation was launched. Gary and Jana remained the only divers for quite some time, and still are to this day, even though they have staffed company.
