I just found out a true friend passed recently... in his obituary, it states to plant a tree in his memory... I will do that.... he was so kind, he welcomed me into the hockey card business at the local shows and he always made me laugh... a tree is the least I can do to remember his kindness, humour and his knowledge...

One life.... he will always be keeping his eye on me fulfilling my dream!!!

It’s quiet for now at the farm, but some new additions have been added outside the garden space itself...

While we may not be hosting events at the property anytime soon, we are working hard to get it ready for when we can....
One of our new concrete benches and some special mulch spread out to highlight the arch walk through!!

So I am looking at all the plans I had for Orange Barn Events this year and realizing, they will be even better a few months down the road or even 2021 If that is what it takes to keep everyone safe and healthy!!!

That means the open house scheduled for the end of May is not going to move forward .... yet...

BUT the good news.... I am still getting everything ready... I’ve got veggies started from seed for the gardens, I’ve just received the 5 concrete benches we are going to spread on the property and I am getting tables and chairs in soon....

So plan your 2021 events with us and know that next spring and summer will be all about connecting with our family and friends in a new way and with a new level of appreciation and gratitude!!!

Stay healthy and safe and reach out if you need a quiet walk on a beautiful piece of property!!! It can be arranged.... we will all get through this!!! ❤️🙏💕

Stopped by on this beautiful sunny day!!
Picked up some concrete benches for the space at the farm this summer.... deciding where to place them...

When things get back to “normal”, we will be helping those couples who may get stuck without a venue through fall 2020 and in 2021. No price gauging, nothing complicated, just have openings to help everyone pull off their dream weddings and other events....

We have learned the value of time spent together... celebrations coming out of these times will be so important.
