Pretty Place Chapel Update:
After sustaining significant damage from the effects of Hurricane Helene, Pretty Place remains closed for repairs.

We are grateful to Hogan Construction Group, LLC for their hard-working crews who have cleared debris and removed broken structures to prepare for roof repairs to begin this week.

Benches have been removed during construction. The cross has been gently removed and safely stored to prevent any damage during construction.

We expect to re-open to public visitors in January 2025 (exact date not yet determined). Please do not attempt to visit at this time, for your safety.

Venue open for those who need to reschedule

Attn: Venues, Planners, Vendors, Brides and anyone else that is reading this.

First of all, I want to thank everyone for their patience as we navigate through what we are still navigating through in WNC, my thoughts have been with each and every one of you. I am blessed and am able to reopen our venue. I want to help anyway I can so please reach out if you are not able to reopen or if you need an alternate venue. We are all in this together. Brides with fall weddings in Asheville and Western North Carolina in 2024: I’m very sorry to say this but as a planner of 30+ years who has been through several emergencies and a pandemic, if it all possible, please postpone your event at least six months. We are stretched thin just taking care of the people we have left. There is no cell service. Many roads are washed out. There are few flights. There is no lodging. There is no water and it is hard to obtain food even for day-to-day survival. Do a quick courthouse ceremony where you are and plan to celebrate with us next year. If your venue is open and has electricity, food, and water, please bring six or less people to keep the number of vehicles off the road and impact our system minimally.
