Just wanted to thank all participants and spectators again for making this event another success despite the cold.
A few people we forgot to thank that were a HUGE part of making race day happen, first and foremost - Jeff Mowatt for giving us a great space to host on the last 3 years!
The R.M. guys for helping clear out the grounds... a couple times!!

Well, I think we've finally warmed up enough now, our brains and hands are functioning again.
We owe alot of thank-yous for all the help we got to male yesterday's races happen. Without those of you who stepped up to help, they wouldn't have happened.
Friday, Jason battled crazy cold winds and snow as drifts kept piling onto the already groomed track. His brother Kris Fiarchuk came out to help that night AND early the next morning to groom the track over and over to make it as safe as possible. Kris was also our light guy! Thanks Kris for always stepping in to help wherever you're needed!
Huge thank you also, to Brian Starr for running the board, and helping Britt in the registration hut to figure my s**t out 🤣
Jay's dad Tony was also a big help, delivering and setting up our PA system and giving Brian a hand on the board!
Gowan Emms for your help with the board, and making sure my hubby was alive and breathing and keeping warm (I super appreciate this).
Cameron Campbell and crew for marking the track Saturday morning so Jay could take care of everything else that needed to be done.
Dean Myhre for helping make sure registration went a little smoother.
Brad Smith for the use of the warm-up Shack that we may have taken over 🙊🙊
Leighton Peters who stayed to help clean up the track. Set up and tear down is always a pile of work, and it was greatly appreciated.
Thanks to the Kinsmen club for providing the canteen and doing gate admission.

If anyone needs directions, please message and we will do our best, there are apparently no signage up.
Head north of the 4-way in Gladstone and continue north across the bridge, follow signs for Williams park, turn west on 5th street and continue west past the fair grounds. We are on the north side of the road.

RACERS: just a note from your friendly registration lady!
Please come and register as soon as you can when you get there to help avoid the congestion and rush at the end. - this is IMPORTANT!!
The door to the trailer needs to remain closed while you are registering to preserve heat, so we can not have people lined up at the door with the door wide open.

If you were considering coming to watch but were nervous about being cold, you can park your car along the track and listen through the a.m. transmitter so you stay toasty roasty! And then when you get hungry, you can go grab yourself a nice piping hot hamburger from the canteen 👌👌
If you are coming to participate, we know you're all used to these frigid Temps, let that ADRENALINE keep you warm 😜😝

This weather (hopefully) ain't gonna stop us from making tomorrow happen. Jay and Oaklan are out touching up the track. This wind can fly a kite, hopefully before we have to go out and mark it later 🤣😅

Got the inspectors out to scope out the prime track location before the Groomer gets here today to get started.
