Happy Anniversary to a wonderful couple, Lex & Marian! We had to postpone their wedding due to the pandemic and then their original venue burned in the Glass Fire. Starting from scratch in planning, we were lucky to partner with and use this gorgeous private estate. Lex & Marian are the most fun people you will ever meet! Their love for each other and life is evident in everything they do and we had so much fun working with them!!

On a beautiful day last April we got to help Simone and John have their long awaited wedding celebration. Our first call with this couple was in 2018, and S&J ended up having a very small ceremony in 2020, and finally got to have the reception they’d imagined in April 2022!

We’ve been MIA for the last several weeks while we work on a new project, our retail store , which opens today in downtown Santa Rosa.

Heritage Alchemy aims to help our community reduce dependency on single-use plastic and hard to recycle items. Our shop features eco-friendly brands and a refill station. This is our passion project and though we will never claim to be perfect, we hope to help everyone achieve small, sustainable changes in their daily lives. Together with our business partner, we will continue to run Reed & James Events alongside Heritage Alchemy.

2020 has brought a lot of unexpected challenges and growth. We are fortunate to have been able to recommit our vision and are thrilled to be able to share it with all of you.

It’s ! Did you know that in addition to our event planning company we recently started small steps toward our future dream? A full retail space and office where we can plan events and you can shop for all your celebration needs. We have gifts, holiday items, and paper party products. Our office/store will be open a few weekends in December but you can also purchase online. If you’re local we can always set up a time for you to pickup your items in person!
