Ninjafest was born in 2002, the brainchild of May and Rach, two hardcore obsessives and gig promoters out of frustration that the UK had nothing to rival the fantastic hardcore community-led festivals of the Mainland and America. After three sold out events, and after joining forces with their friend Louise from Burial Records, Ninjafest moved permanently into its home at Camden's Underworld and t
ook place every year, at the same weekend, until 2007. The weekend became the staple of the UKHC calendar, bringing together a family of not just the London scene but from all across Great Britain, Europe and North America. The three girls hung up their laminates in 2008 with May continuing to fan the flame for hardcore through Running Riot Festival until 2010. NINJAFEST 2013... NO TURNING BACK
