To say I’m not overwhelmed with joy, would be a complete lie. I’m so grateful to everyone who remembered to reach out to me. Taking a few moments in your day to wish me a happy birthday (early, on time, or late) was so thoughtful, and I appreciate it to the fullest. Special thanks to my loving husband for orchestrating my surprise party. I’m still in awe.

My friends asked me what words of wisdom I could share. Without hesitation my response was “F$&k it! Do what you love, do what you like, and stop waiting for others to join you on your journey. The people who are able to join, will do so. Those who can’t but support, you will see you again when you both reach a converging point. The rest will be left behind and it’s not your job to make them keep up to your pace. Let go of those burdens. You will be happier and have a better support system.”

When organizing my schedule, I must always remember the basics. We can get lost with the fancy headers, calendar apps, and new innovative methods, but it’s nice to refresh ourselves on what matters most: Getting the plan written down. We can check out the advanced features afterwards.

Night Owls UNITE! When it comes to planning for my week, it has to be during the evening. If everyone has the same 24 hours and should get around 8 hours a sleep, then what's wrong with me applying my 16 hours to the late night instead of during the early morning? It's the same amount of hours right? XD There's no need to plan MY WEEK according to the belief of others. "Setting the mood" and creating a standard for which I am most comfortable with is essential. Some people like to make Sunday or Monday their reset day, but I do it whenever I like haha My reset is focused on re-organizing my life where I reevaluate my goals and aspirations. Does this truly fit my schedule? Am I burning myself out trying to complete all these things? Do they even matter to me anymore? This self reflection is so important, and I don't need a special day to make sure I'm in the right head space, because then it may be too late and the choices I've made, I might be stuck with. My lifestyle isn't for everyone though. Still I hope my spin on this common topic may spark some new insight for you. How do you reset yourself?

TLDR: thanks for the birthday wishes and support for Casper’s passing. Enjoy my life at 28 in a photo carousel.
Long post: This year I turned 29 and my year at 28 has been an interesting one. I quit my job and started a business instead, designed, tested, built, and launched my first product line, (in 7 months btw), my car died but I got a new one, attended 2 funerals for immediate family, got engaged, started reconstructing some burned bridges (we’ll see if that’s a good thing), chose to put down Casper on Saturday, October 1st, made some new internet friends around the globe, and got better at designing my maximalist bujo spreads.
In exchange for all this, it does mean I didn’t call or visit friends and family often, and it meant all the more to me that there were some who still cared to reach out for hello’s, invites, check-in’s, etc. I’ve definitely experienced a major shift in lifestyle change and have been swarmed by tasks when trying to “make it on my own”, but I really do love it when I get to nurture my relationships with all of you by knowing what you’re up to and sharing what I’ve been doing. Thanks for remembering the “strong girl” bc believe me: I don’t always have it together, and I’m certainly drowning most days. I’m happy to know people still see me as a support system but also take the time to support me (mentally, physically, emotionally, financially, etc).
So this year’s celebration goes out to you, my support system. I’ll continue to try my best in seeing you more but texts, snaps, DM’s, and calls are so much better 😂 I would have you visit, but my house is literally to the ceiling with inventory and there’s nowhere for you to sit.

A journey is the unknown path you take to your greater purpose. On that journey you can come across obstacles, opportunities, and people that want to join in your quest for adventure. I’m happy to say that on my journey I have built the beginning of two amazing tales. The Queen has acquired more diamonds on both her finger and in her business. Although wedding plans are still under development, the save-the-date for my PANDY Products stationery launch has already been announced.

This is a post for those who are hurt, scared, and worried about carving out a moment to process what is happening to their community. This post is for the allies who want to help but need some guidance.
It’s been a busy for days for some people in the US with not-so-good intentions. In less than a week, there were 3 separate heinous crimes committed against the Black and Asian communities. This post is not to strike up a political conversation or to call upon opinions of best solutions or to speculate the cause.

For the community members: Although in this moment, nothing can be done to remove your fears, locating a space where you may be vulnerable to share your sudden thoughts and possible outbursts. For some, their ERG (employee resource group) works best, and for others avoiding places that require code-switching reduces the pressure. Whatever your safe needs are that you must fulfill, please take those actions and do not apologize for taking care of yourself.

For the allies: Not everyone you know that is a member of the community needs to receive a text, phone call, or email, however mentioning these recent events in passing conversation can open the dialogue others may have been too afraid to start. Not all persons respond well to a direct approach and you may not have bonded well enough with someone to feel comfortable with consoling them. This indirect style may be helpful and if anyone does reach out, choose to listen first. Let them ask for help or offer what you can do to help before you provide solutions.

I hope these tips were helpful and offer a state of peaceful mindfulness. Should you have any tips to offer, please provide them in the comments below.
