Peoples Of Colours

Tafara Sithole (@chillibite) and Liam Patel (@liamaswell), Formally known as Peoples of Colours are a dynamic duo that came together in 2017. However their love for music has always tied these two together since their early days in high school, exploring drum and bass, hip hop, jazz, and dubstep whilst crafting their sound.

Their exploration of sounds and love for music has driven them to keep pushing their sound to its limits in order to unlock their true audio identity. Fusing minimal and dub elements with lysergic grooves in order to keep the dance floor moving. Their sounds can be described as highly energetic, roller laced minimal with intricate grooves.

Now having played in clubs across Cape Town, with a handful of festivals in the pocket as well, Peoples of Colours have placed themselves alongside some of the most respected DJs in the city. Pushing the deeper, groovier sounds of House, minimal & dub, the duo brings a large array of versatility to the booth, fitting for any line-up. Moreover, these two have seen success through their event series’, ‘Mouth2Mouth’ and their previous residencies at Reset and Tau, which has only pushed them to greater heights.
